Sharonda Dillard-Huffman is a public servant, advocate, and barrier breaker dedicated to creating a more equitable Baltimore County. As an ADA/504 Manager, she ensures that individuals with disabilities have fair access to housing and services. Her work with the Maryland Inclusive Housing, where she currently serves as Chair of the Baltimore County Housing Committee, reflects her commitment to dignity and opportunity for all residents.

In addition to her professional expertise in housing equity, zoning, disability law, and community development, Sharonda has been a Planning Ambassador with the Baltimore County Planning Department, educating the public on development issues and challenging long-standing inequities reinforced by outdated land-use policies.

Sharonda is also deeply engaged in civic life. She founded the Blue and Gold Democratic Club, serves as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention, and was recognized as a Top 10 Baltimore County Democrat. She is an alum of Emerge Maryland and the Executive Alliance Mentorship Program, where she continues to mentor and uplift future leaders. She is also a member of various non-partisan organizations including Sigma Gamma Rho, NAACP, and Greater Baltimore Urban League.

Her campaign theme, Elevate East, reflects her mission to ensure that communities on the East side of Baltimore County receive the investment, representation, and voice they deserve. Sharonda’s vision centers on housing equity, transparency in government, and breaking down barriers in representation—always guided by the belief that fair policies should reflect the people they serve. She also focuses on public safety and constituent services.

A proud Morgan State University alum, wife, mother, and daughter, Sharonda knows firsthand the challenges families face when housing is unaffordable or inaccessible. Her personal story—raising her family in Essex and advocating for her son’s right to live independently as a non-elderly disabled adult—fuels her fight for a Baltimore County that works for everyone.

Sharonda Dillard-Huffman is not just running for office—she is working to break barriers, build opportunity, and elevate every corner of Baltimore County.

She has been featured on several news media outlets.
